Last updated: July 18, 2026

1. Acceptance of these terms

By downloading, installing or using PDF Scanner, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Your licence to use the app

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use PDF Scanner on devices you own or control, for your own personal or internal business purposes, in line with these terms and the terms of the app store you downloaded it from.

3. Your documents and your responsibility

You keep all rights to the documents, scans and files you create or import with PDF Scanner. We do not claim any ownership of your content and, because it stays on your device, we never see it.

You are solely responsible for your documents: for having the right to scan, store and use them, for their content, and for keeping your own backups. We are not responsible for the accuracy, legality or safekeeping of your files.

4. Local storage and no recovery

PDF Scanner stores your documents and settings locally on your device. We do not keep a copy. If you delete a document, or uninstall the app, that data is permanently removed from your device and cannot be recovered by us. Please export anything important before deleting it or removing the app.

5. Acceptable use

When using PDF Scanner, you agree not to:

  • Use the app to scan, store or process content you do not have the right to use, or for any unlawful purpose.
  • Copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell or redistribute the app except where the law expressly allows it.
  • Attempt to interfere with, disrupt or misuse the app or the devices of others.
  • Remove or alter any proprietary notices, or use Space2Code branding without permission.

6. Our intellectual property

PDF Scanner, its name, logo, design and software are owned by Space2Code and protected by intellectual-property laws. These terms give you the right to use the app, but not to use our trademarks or content except as needed to use the app normally.

7. App-store terms

You download PDF Scanner from the Apple App Store or Google Play, and your use is also subject to that store's terms. The app stores are not responsible for the app, its content or support. Where store terms govern store-specific matters, they apply.

8. Disclaimers

PDF Scanner is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not responsible for any loss, corruption or deletion of documents stored on your device. Always keep your own backups of important files.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Space2Code will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, documents, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of PDF Scanner. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) for the app.

10. Termination

You may stop using PDF Scanner at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or end your licence if you breach these terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive — such as your responsibility for your documents, intellectual property, disclaimers and limitation of liability — continue to apply after termination.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Surat, Gujarat, India, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use PDF Scanner after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
